Comeback

I have been thinking about the game last Saturday and the ramifications it has on UGA football and in my opinion it exposed some disturbing trends eg: lack of will, poor coaching, lack of interest,and general malaise in the program. In my opinion UGA may have crossed into a place that we've feared on here for a long time. In your opinion is this team able to rebound and become a respectable team this season, and what do you think it will have to do for that to happen?

Until we beat a top ranked team we will not have anybody's respect. After the SC game Kenucky probable thinks they can beat us and I'm not sure they can't.

In terms of overall record and finish... yes.

Look at our schedule. We've got one tough one left with Florida, but other than that
we should be able to win the rest of them without question just because our talent is
so much better than our opponents.

I'm not even putting it past us to beat UF again. So we can finish 10-2 maybe even 11-1.

We can even figure in another slip as many think 9-3 is "respectable", but I can definitely see 10-2 and a pretty good bowl game.

Even after this past weeks debacle and embarrassment... where we are now.. 5-1, ranked 12th or whatever... that's well within what most would call respectable.

I guess it comes down to how you want to define "respectable".

I guess what I would term a comeback as taking uf to the woodshed and winning the SEC should we make it there. Otherwise I think the season is a bust with the players and the schedule we have. This team has to show me that it is capable of getting up off the ground and hitting back harder than they were hit, if that happens I could see good things happening. Don't think Richt is the one to make that happen though.

This team is a second tier SEC team. Proved that last Saturday. No good can come of this season after the loss to Carolina. I do not care if we win the SEC East. That would make 2 years in a row that we have backed into it. Been there done that. Fits this team well tho....pretending to be a championship caliber team.....

Well I don't see that happening.
