Party Line Again . . . Not

duck, appears to me that the only way to take care of that neigbor is to take him behind the woodshed. :)

duck, not the first time this has happened, appears it won't be the last time. Some coaches just know how to win the big games.

Those that like or dislike our coaching staff have to look at the end result. Some can live with looking back and pulling out records, that in my way of thinking is living in the past. Why or what keeps UGA from winning big games with the talent on board each year.

Can anyone imagine what Saban or Spurrier could do with the talent that chooses to play between the Hedges almost every year. That too will change, players like to play on teams that draw national attention, we are slipping, we are not winning games against real competition, recruiting will begin to slip also.

I tried this season to be a reasonable sort, think that I was. Until we understand that the game is won and lost in the trenches, not much will change. Anyone reading this board knows that there are several here that have moaned and groaned about the lack of recruiting offensive linemen.

Been said before . . . . wonderful thing to have running backs like we have now, and these two are way above average. Both of these young players found out first hand what it is like to run into "darkness". Don't blame the young men in the offensive line, my reason for this goes much further up the ladder.

UGA will continue to send players to the NFL because of the system we run. At some point there has to be a reason or two before the NFL reaps the rewards. What about UGA?

You speak the truth Buc, guess we'll just have to sit back and watch things as they unfold. I guess what will be will be, for don't believe that you and I can change anything about the program.

Gentlemen....what makes last Sat even WORSE is that we will go 10-2 and possibly 11-1.

Zero changes.

duck, was reading another post from wlayton and sadlerdawg. Thought I was waking from a bad dream. Saturday in my group several folks wanted to know why I was so quiet after the first few minutes.

This is why. Don't often do this but I think it is time for the gloves to come off. When Rambo not only let the wide receiver take the ball away and then let another get behind him, and if that was not enough, he as always, was the last man in on a tackle. Has never been the same since the Auburn game a while back.

He returned to UGA not for the school, he came back to boost his ratings for the NFL. He screwed that up also with the "brownies" he and his high school coach said he did not know had THC. "Brownies" at a football party don't usually have a lot of chocolate chips. I know of what I speak.

duck, you and I have no choice but to live with what is thrown at us now. I will always support UGA as I am sure you will, but I do have the right to express my opinion "truthfully" from now on. What South Carolina did to us brought back memories of Sanford Stadium and our coaches thoughts on "Blackout" against Alabama. These coaches are grown men, get over the fact that you will never play the game again. Screw a bunch of gimmicks, play football.

In my mind it goes something like this . . . . you purchase a "prime steak", grilled right, wonderful outcome. Leave the prime steak on the grill too long, you have ruined a wonderful cut of meat. This group of coaches don't seem to know how to grill a prime steak. They have had "years" to learn how, somehow, it never reaches the table and satisfies.

Beats the hell out of me . . . .

Adding insult to injury, I have heard time after time how the program is improving. I accept the hype just to be brought tumbling down to reality. I will continue to go to games and cheer for the Dawgs. However, I will NOT get caught up in the SEC champion or NC championship talk. We are an average team in the SEC. My expectations are set.

Duck - even worse than your statement above is that we could back into the SEC championship again and get killed by Bama this year. SC still has to play UF and LSU. Don't see them losing, but ... And we still have UF who is looking better each week unlike us.

You want to make me change my mind UGA, show me something. Coaches? Players? Anybody? I'll quit typing now. The more I type the sicker I get.
