All Penn State players are free to transfer and play immediately. Hate to jump on a program in a bad time but somebody is going to get some studs, might as well be UGA. Lord knows we have plenty of available scholarships.

Figure Lakatos would be all over that, considering he was from UConn.

bulldawg36869, it was mentioned today that one of the top recruits for Penn State is now being courted by Ohio State. Recruit dropping talks with Penn State.

Going to be interesting to see how many of the players remain, and the number already in their Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years that opt out of their contract with Penn State.

Lane Kiffin has done what appears to be a good job with Southern Cal. Keeping the existing team and getting good football players to sign on through their probation.

Feel what Sandusky started and the other officials covered up will haunt Penn State for sometime. Sandusky is truly a marked pedophile when he hits the big house.

bulldawg36869, one of my big concerns is our newly hired S&C coach John Thomas. Emmert was asked the question today if the NCAA intended to look at other coaches dating back to 1998. All of us know that strength coaches work closely with offensive and defensive coaches. Sandusky had to be close to John Thomas, at least in the weight facility. Question in my opinion needs to be asked of John Thomas, figure he has been asked, just a bit strange that he left Penn State at this time. Hope he is not or was not aware of Sandusky's pedophilia. This mess is not over, chapter one, more to come.

Other side of that coin is that John Thomas also knows many of the players, some pretty good offensive linemen, maybe we benefit from Thomas being in Athens.

Buc, gotta believe Thomas knew something......don't need Emmert coming to Athens to create anymore bad press.

wlayton, I would think that it would be too hard not to at least think that something was wrong. Too many years involved in this mess that went on at Penn State. One thing that we all know now, this crap reached the top echelons of the university.

Here is hoping that Adams, McGarity and Richt have a handle on this. There is going to be a boat full of "stuff" coming out, said earlier, this is Chapter One.

Crossed fingers that Thomas is clean and he is a huge plus to UGA.
