If you aren't going to make your reputation by winning championships, then you'll make it some other way. Right now you aren't really blowing our doors off by making such wonderful impacts on these impressionable young men. Exactly what is it that you do well? Is there a stripper pole in the weight room? A bar? A disco ball? You don't have a reputation for keeping the players under a strict curfew. You don't have a reputation for developing the special teams. You don't seem interested in developing your reputation as a team with a diverse offensive game plan.

Right now, your reputation has been reduced to a guy who talks big, loud, Christian talk, but we keep watching our best players sitting out the first several games each season because of either beating up girls, drunk driving, drug arrests or felony weapons arrests. Some have complained that there is too much Christianity in the coaching staff. Really?! You could have fooled ME! I'd say we don't have any from the RESULTS. Not winning championships. Not changing troubled young men. What are you doing well? The defense is looking pretty good (except for the suspensions), and we know who gets the credit for that.

What is your reputation? Pretty simple, really - your reputation is of a head coach who never has all of his players available for the first several games of the season because of "off field" issues. Your reputation is for winning Fulmer Cups. Watch out, coach, it's about to become the "Richt Cup".

Stop this now. Get rid of IC (and the other gangstas on the team). UGA fans don't need to be focused on suspensions. Football is what we were hoping for this year.

Like I have said before, what are these players doing out at 2:30 am. There is no control at UGA, CMR should assign seniors and asst coaches to have bed checks on these guys now days. I for one am sick of IC and he should be booted of campus tonight. You can bet on SS at USC is licking his chops, he will be glad to give him a scholorship, he likes criminals and gives all his players 4 to 5 chances before they are dismissed.

thriller, that is a great post, took the words right out of my mouth, but due to the CMR lovers, I did not say what I really wanted. Great job, and very true.

duck, you have been around this board for a long time. You are right in your observation of thriller. He does call it as he sees it. One of his strengths as far as I am concerned is that what he posts, he can back up with fact, or close.

Next few days are going to be real interesting when we see IC outside of the bars and what UGA will do with this young man.

duck, don't you know that Spurrier would love to be playing UGA further up the schedule this particular year, with all of the suspensions and soon to be more. Previous seasons he could count on what we are witnessing now and narrowly getting by. It is not Spurrier's coaching, it is a lack of "whatever" coming out of Athens. Still trying to be neutral, getting much harder, everyday.

How much would playing Spurrier earlier this season reflect on UGA recruiting, especially playing the game in Columbia. Three in a row, sorry, would just about end the current administration in Athens. One old fart's thoughts.

As has been mentioned many months back, boys will be boys. Bringing that up to date. Boys don't or should not have 9mm weapons in the car first off. Second, someone putting a file or whatever to serial numbers, pretty damn dumb. At this point not sure IC understands the "messages" sent his way by the powers at UGA. Sorry, coaches cannot duck this issue . . . . IC did it . . . what will UGA do to correct this problem . . .
