We all applauded his actions. We gloated over young Mr. Crowell. We looked anxiously toward the forthcoming season. Our featured running back had returned like the prodigal son. We anointed him #1 RB. Our future was the brightest it has been in some time.

Well, Mr. Corwell, you have blown it. Coach Richt - No More Mr Nice Guy. I read on another board where others are saying we don't need another preacher in Athens, we need a football coach. Act like one and get rid of this thug before he ruins your - I mean OUR football team.
TN Dawg, this post comes the closest to me when I look over the board. Like you, I was drinking the kool aid (maybe not you) coming from IC and the "media" that wants "us" to "believe". Your comment about "Mr. Crowell, you have blown it" is all I need to hear.
Have scanned a lot of boards on this issue of IC, most are tired of what is going on in Athens. By that I mean, coaches have to decide what their "roles" are.
Have to say this . . . . . how long does it take the powers in Athens to figure out what needs to be done for the GOLDEN GOOSE. That would be FOOTBALL.
Question: Why is it that schools can cross our borders and and take the best players away?
There are reasons. May I suggest one? Exactly what started this thread. Come on with other schools and their problems, but if you do that, just give one explanation as to why we have to be a part of that. Will we continue on this path? It has been this way for more than the current problem, goes back years . . . . I have history . . . . thinking most would agree with that, if produced.
Maybe if I could put a "vote" tab up, we could settle where this board is.
Keep IC . . . Yes
Move on . . . Yes
No vote . . . Yes
