Hmmmmm . . . good thread for the off season . . . here is the list I'll choose from, in no particular order:
Buzzy Rosenberg, Terry Hoage, Bill Krug, Ben Zambizi, Richard Tardits, Herschel Walker, Jimmy Payne, Glynn Harrison, Ricky Lake, Jimmy Poulos, Buck Belue, Richard Appleby, Gene Washington, Ray Goff (the player with the tear-away jersey, not the coach), Lindsey Scott, Terrence Edwards, David Greene, Hines Ward, D.J. Shockley, Eddie "Meat-Cleaver" Weaver, Jake Scott, Bill Stanfill, Mike "Moon Pie" Wilson, Joel Parrish, Matt Stinchcomb, Jon Stinchcomb, Garrison Hearst, Robert Edwards, Olandis Gary, Mo Lewis, Will Witherspoon, Thomas Davis, David Pollack, Scott Woerner, Robert Honeycutt, Allen Leavitt, Rex Robinson, John Kasay, Kevin Butler, Mack Strong, Champ Bailey, Boss Bailey, Matthew Stafford, Knowshon Moreno, Bill Goldberg and "Fast" Freddie Gilbert.
I may have to come back and add to this list, but pretty much anyone I haven't already thought of would not really be my FAVORITE, huh?
List of players NOT in consideration, the DIS-honor roll: pat dye, will muschimp.

Wouldn't you just about "have" to go with HW??
There are SO many to choose from that it makes it almost too difficult to pick ONE, thriller certainly can make that case.
Other than HW, I always loved watching DJ play (his senior year), he was so much fun to watch......loved the "coolness" of DG and the raw, gunslinging talent of MS.....the passion of Pollack.....the hits of Thomas Davis.......and the guts of the whole 1980 NC team.
Obvious I can't pick one......other than HW that is.....

Garrison Hearst was the first I remember. Idolized him at a young age. As I got older, started paying a little more attention to the other side. Thomas Davis had to be one of my all time favorites. Enjoyed Blue. I will say, Jarvis and Tree(before his incidents) are becoming my favorites. I don't remember one single interview where Jarvis doesn't focus on the team. He quickly turns the attention away from himself and puts it where it belongs. Really though, I enjoy all these young fella's and the olders ones I watched that played the right way. List could be endless.

Even though I didn't see him play at Georgia I got to go with Fran Tarkenton.
He wasn't born in Georgia but he played high school football in Athens and at Georgia.
Saw him play pro football and was a great player that did alot with his feet and his arm.
