Below is the 2013 Class of commitments to this point, unless I have missed some Pups.
Appears that we have a lot of help on the Defensive side of the ball. Not squawking, great believer in Defense. Especially when I believe that we have coaches that will develop these young men, and those with NFL promise will get there, no doubt in my mind. Maybe I should say, no doubt in Grantham’s, Olivadotti’s, Lakatos’ mind that they will get their chance to move forward. Would love to be a fly on the wall and listen to the Defensive coaches discussing players, plays, situations and THEIR thoughts on exactly where THEY believe the Red and Black are for the coming season.
Looking over the list below, it does appear that Mark Richt will probably recruit and sign many more young men than say, last season. Not sure if that was planned or just happened to work out that way. So, maybe now is the time for many young, aggressive young offensive linemen to fill out some of the open spaces that will be available to Mark Richt in the upcoming year. What a great thing it would be to develop a two deep offensive line. All of us know that and most of us recognize that is where the elite of the SEC have been focusing the past three or four years. Keeping my fingers crossed (again) for Laremy Tunsil. We missed a very good offensive tackle that chose Auburn over us, maybe we get this young man.
One quick note . . . . Folks down my way are still not sure about Muschamp. If we win in Jacksonville this year, Foley will have his hands full explaining why he hired a UGA football player to run Florida’s program.
Muschamp is so full of himself, and he has again made some disparaging remarks about the “only” University that picked him up and allowed him to play D1 Football. He was right in part about his remarks on UGA and Education . . . . His dumb ass barely make it through BASKET WEAVING. UGA, was forced to re-open that class for Muschamp’s survival. Sorry, just looking forward to Jeremy Foley canning his ass. Mark Richt, don’t let this butt face come away with a victory in JAX.
Coach’em up, as ogredawg said in this thread, fix what needs to be fixed.
