Picking the SEC Bowl Games

Watching the Oklhoma State coach talking about the MNC and his group being there. Here is what I say to that. If that conference consistently played defense as does the SEC, he would be beating the drum a different way. Same goes for some of the other conferences North and West of SEC territory. They hate to see another MNC going to a Southern team. The SEC is where defense is played and that is why #1 and #2 this season ended up where they did.

Would like to see Arkansas and Oklahoma State lock horns. That would be the kind of show that offensive folks would love. Arkansas is capable of good defense on occasion also.

On the other hand, if it's Bama vs. LSU, the Big 12/10/9 morons are going to say, "The SEC is running scared! Sure, give LSU a team it's already beaten, just to guarantee an SEC national champ!" Better we should see LSU cream OSU than have a tight game over Alabama. THAT, my friends, is better for the conference.

2008, SEC proposes a 4 team playoff, nixed by every conference except the ACC.
Don't blame the SEC.
I want to see the best two teams play.

Had forgotten about that averagedawg. Think the "morons" you refer to dapolla know that these Southern Soul Food Players have no fear. There will always be garbage talk coming from them. Real simple answer to them . . . win, play tougher schedules. They will be putting their marbles in Meyer's basket now. Watch the polls next season, especially those being "directed" by ESPN.

Agree with averagedawg and Buc......don't care what anybody thinks about the SEC.

OSU lost to a 6-6 Iowa State team???? Are you kidding me? VERSUS BAMA lost to the #1 team in the country in overtime......no comparison....should be LSU/BAMA rematch from a "deserving" analysis.

Yes, it would be fun to see LSU/OSU but can'r rationalize in my mind that OSU deserves it more than BAMA......and neither will the voters. You don't lose to Iowa State, OSU had their chance and lost it to a 6-6 team.

Dead on Buc. Wouldn't surprise me if they try to put tosu in the top 10-15 preseason just because of um. Why are we hated so much, not just the university, but everything down to being a fan?
