Agree with you Buc, at least with SS you know where you stand.

Thought I would ask my "insider" what his take on the team is going forward. Just another take on it but wanted to share it. Really respect this guy's opinion.
"We’ve got a lot of people returning next year. However, we’ll need to find a running back, two new offensive tackles and a center. Whoever winds up playing those three spots will have virtually no experience. I expect Theus to start at LT as a true freshman, and that is scary in the SEC. If we can form a decent line and find some consistency at running back, then we should get back to Atlanta, though SC is going to be very good as well. Still, LSU will be just as good next year unless there are mass early defections to the pros. Alabama will be very good again. I think we’re a couple of years away from being able to go head to head with those guys, and we need to recruit very well to continue bridging the gap. The problem is, Nick Saban gets whoever he wants right now in recruiting regardless of where the recruit is. He has basically taken whoever he wants from Georgia this year. We are NOT having a good recruiting year, though hopefully that starts to change a little today with Marshall."

wlayton, it makes me wonder what Petersen could do with our talent if he had access to it. The size of our lines, the speed of our skill positions. Looking at Boise State's recruiting classes makes me wonder if we're missing something besides Saban's recruiting ability.

Yeah, think we have all wondered what a Petersen or a G. Patterson etc would do with our talent. Hopefully CMR realizes he needs to be focusing recruiting OL/DL more. We need the others for sure but as Buc and everybody has said....we first need the "big boys" up front to get to the next level in the SEC. Seems CMR has always "leaned" more to the "speed" side of recruiting (at FSU as well)...WR's, RB's etc with a great QB to lead.
