Helmet on top of the head, huh? I'm WAY too small to have played much, but did play some in high school. If anyone, starter or not, EVER took off a helmet, it was curtains for him. Those lids stayed on the entire practice, rain or shine, hot or cold. I can't believe that Richt would allow something like that.
May have been a bit misleading with that part wlayton...apparently he's not taking it off between plays while still being on the field. Rather, as soon as he comes out of the rotation, chin strap off, helmet on top of head. Watch Crowell on the sideline when he's not in the game...helmet is always perched on top of his head.
Hey MH that was thriller....I'm big enough to play......well, close.
My bad...won't happen again Mr. Mayor :woohoo:
Tell you what MH, that's the way it was when I played too (what thriller posted). That helmet stayed ON until you put it back in your locker. Have a good weekend MH....party's at 7:30.
We had the same basic rules...game day and practice. Helmet was on at all times unless coach said it was okay to take it off. If you did take it off it was in your hand or under your arm. Anyone caught sitting on their helmet or leaning on it with a hand would have it kicked out from underneath them, taken away and told to run laps until the end of practice.
I'll be there for the party Saturday night...hopefully with a few tiger steaks to throw on the grill!

AND I also heard that the hit was kinda a payback...
Someone forgot to block someone and IC got LIT up. Is all I'm gonna say.
I bet we see a lot of BS and BB on offense running the ball. With CT being the main back with KM.
I would love to see them hand it off to BRUUUUUUCE and ZA and get a little pressure of the tailback position.

would fall over dead with shock.
We finally did it against Tech, and ZA gashed them just as predicted. 21 yards straight
up the gut. LSU is tons better than Tech, but the premise is the same. It's darn sure
not something way up our tendency chart.
God Bless and Go Dawgs

Couldn't agree more...all we need is 2 to 3 yards a pop now and then to keep 'em honest. I'm sorry, but Figgin's 275 lbs. can definitely get 3 yds and a cloud of dust every now and then. They're gonna line up and try and run it down our throats...I say, to start out at least, let's return the favor.

By the way Stanger...any word on whether that closed door talk had any affect what so ever?
