AllDawgs5 we both know that continuity in the coaching staff is just as important if not more important than any other facet of college football.
We look at LSU for example. Many things being thrown Miles way (dumb stuff) but what is the outcome. Miles as a speaker, far from the best, gets off of that podium and does what it is that he does best. Recruit and apparently looking at his results, is a pretty good football coach. Think it was Richt that said trying to get a player from the State of Louisiana is next to impossible.
That is what I am saying about Coach Grantham, while he is a better speaker than Miles (my opinion) he has this thing about him that football players like. Give a UGA fan a choice of a good coach or a good speaker, not much of a decision to be made.
If some on here are judging Coach Grantham because he had two times where he showed emotion and that is what prevents him from becoming a head coach. Falls on my deaf ears. What Coach Grantham has done is prove that solid coaching can take a team and its fans and alumni and wipe those scowls off and replace them with smiles.
