Actually put Rex Robinson's article up because I knew that he had gotten real po'd when Fabris took over that duty and was anything but a kicking coach. As far as going into the ins and outs of the kicking game, of which I am not qualified, just providing some material that I was aware of a couple of years back.

Kicking game also goes hand and glove with the coverage schemes, think we know that we don't do the latter very well at this point. Realize that we were supposed to be very good in that area prior to this year and this year. Say it again AllDawgs5 . . . . I come from an era when the kicking game was huge, and it has not changed in the SEC for many years.

We can actually name any return man from a long list, results are not always the same. Noticed against LSU that our returns lacked something.

Answering your question. I would rather the ball go through or over the end zone and the opposition start from the 20.

It was also noted that Walsh was getting a lot of height on his kickoffs. Marshall will provide a lot of height not only on kickoffs, same with the field goal attempts.

Made mention of Walsh when he came aboard, same as I did with AM, we have an outstanding kicker on board and he could have played for a lot of schools. Marshall can punt if the other recruit chooses to messy up again. Hope he learned his lesson with the last incident. Do not know if there have been other miscues. At UGA we don't need anymore prima donnas. Seem to have one now. Not Walsh.

This clip is one I just got from one of the guys here in my office in Alpharetta, Ga. It's his nephew. He said he never saw the kid play until this video.

Admittedly, this is JV ball, and the school in in Chicago (there is a distinct "lack of diversity" in this clip), but this kid already looks pretty good. He's only a sophomore in high school, but he's 6'4". The thing about this video that caught my attention was his accuracy (except for one or two throws), and his AWARENESS. I doubt if he'll ever be recruited by the SEC, but it's fun to watch some good football highlights, so enjoy . . .

thriller, this young man is hitting these receivers in stride, makes for huge YAC. If you had not mentioned that this was a JV game, would not have known. Long list of colleges will be at this young man's door step.

They get taller, stronger, smarter (football), faster along with what I saw with this team, seriously good coaching. Really impressed with some of the routes and catches by his receivers.

Where will football be in 10 more years, seems to be no end to talent, coaches and players.

Good post thriller. . . . WOW!
