Watching coverage of the Calhoun/Buford game this weekend. Kid from Calhoun kicked the game winning FG, Adam Grffith, headed to Tuscaloosa. Big win for Calhoun.
I sure as hell hope Morgan can handle the pressure cooker of kicking in the SEC.

averagedawg, when we first signed Marshall I think I mentioned what a great find this was. Anyway for those that have not seen this, check it out. Huge leg, might go so far as to say, improvement over our kickers leg this past season. Morgan also is a terrific punter. Know we signed another punter that got into some early trouble, hoping all is well there. Big part of SEC football averagedawg as you know.

Will always think that much of Walsh's problem was "folks" messing with him. Directional kicks and such. Ex-Dawg Robinson concurs with that theory also. He was screaming about it before the change of coaches. Rex should know. Served UGA well.

Here is another film clip on our incoming kicker Marshall Morgan. Coach JTII spends some time with this young man, good training table, might kick the ball over the moon. He has a serious reputation with the folks in the know in South Florida.

Looks like we have found a gem in Marshall. Kickers never get any credit in high school recruiting rankings it seems. But I think we all know they are just as critical as anyone in crunch time.

As far as the folks messing with Walsh, could be a possibility, but I don't think it was the coaching. If it was, I don't know which coach to blame. Believe CMR leaves the kickers alone from what I can tell. I do know it seemed like Walsh's best FG kicking year was the year when we did the directional kicking. I guess the approach could have messed up his kickoff performance, but I just can't see how it could have messed up his FG kicking. To totally different kicks to me. I believe he just hit a slump this year cause generally we have been pretty successful in the FG department under CMR's watch
