averagedawg, once upon a time I would have pulled for that team in Nashville, now looking forward to them arriving in Athens next season, and I hope we start Kwame at nose. Franklin seems to be patterning himself after Chizik . . . . some never learn. Will be like playing Abuurn this year, pay backs are . . . paybacks. As tightend White said about Abuurn . . . . "We remember". They did.

We may forgo north Georgia and go straight to Colorado or even Germany for two years. The spouse is not keen on the N. Georgia idea.

As far as CMR, he has two years left. No need to rush on him. It's business....don't extend yourself if you don't need to. He isn't leaving, wait till next year and if we keep improving, extend him.

Looking around and came up with this piece of work that is basically credited to Rambo. When the players say this, guess the rest of us have something to hang our hats on.

Defensive coordinator Willie Martinez and two other assistants were let go. Grantham was brought in with two other assistants, and only defensive line coach Rodney Garner remained.

Players said this week that the change itself helped, because the previous defensive staff had been under such fire it was becoming a distraction. But Grantham also brought an intensity that was needed, according to safety Bacarri Rambo.

“That’s what we really had been missing on the defensive side of the ball,” said Rambo, who leads the SEC in interceptions this season. “I know sometimes we should not be coach-oriented to get us motivated. But sometimes it takes that, and he gets us so fired up and has us out there ready to play. … We’re playing relentless; everybody’s having fun. We’re playing with a swagger and confidence that we didn’t play with the previous years.”
