Quoted for truth from Buc:

"some folks calling themselves coaches know nothing about teaching."

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

Think it might have been the same film wlayton that I checked out. Theus stopped Jenkins first time around, second time Jenkins repaid. Theus and Jenkins actually got into each others face. Love the competitive spirit that we are seeing, both on campus and those that will soon be in Athens.

Asked a friend of mine who is a sportswriter in South Florida, Miami and West Palm about Faton Bauta. Conversation went from listening to being told to go to youtube and check a certain piece of film out. Wow!

I think with the incoming quarterback and the quarterback that we now have, Bauta will either play fullback or . . . . . Grantham would love to have this guy in the middle. Feel sure Grantham and Richt will be discussing Faton Bauta. Would be the total package at fullback in Richt's system. I will shut up, just scope it out and see if you are as delighted as I am.

You know me . . . . one more thingy . . . . Ramik Wilson did not come to UGA to watch.

Edit: Meant to say some language in the film, parental control. Turn volume off if some too young to hear.

As you can read over here on the left, Grantham's agent has said the feelers are out.
Pony up or I'm afraid Grantham will take the big raise and leave.
His star is rising.
Where would we be this year without CTG?

CTG not only coaches a physical toughness but also coaches the "mental" toughness that has a Defense rise up to the challange......case in point the TD that Auburn scored on the trick play.....you could just tell that was all the points they were going to get.....AM on the other side of the ball has the "mental" toughness as well as the physical toughness.......case in point the 9 straight incomplete passes.....then comes back and has the 2 games he has had 9 TD passes completing 80% of his passes....the mental toughness is spreading on this team.....something that this team has lacked for a long time......and I give CTG the credit for it.......

Here is hoping that Richt and Grantham have truly built a friendship through football and otherwise. In two years both have shown their different strengths and weaknesses. Both have recruiting talents, both understand their side of the ball from a coaching stand point. Both know who they need to make the team come in on Saturdays and play together.

Supposedly we (UGA) are second on the ladder of football profit in the collegiate world. This is not said to be ugly. If Richt is worth a couple of million dollars a year . . . . what is Grantham worth?

At the beginning of this season, actually in the Spring portion, AM came out and said that Grantham was a really good coach and he not only has the respect of the defensive side of the ball, he has the respect of the offensive side. Everyone knows he is all about teaching and winning. Not a bad combination.

When the defense plays as it has this year, getting better each game, maybe one slip, however when you are worried about chop blocks you tend to play at a slower pace. The offensive side of the ball has to appreciate what is going on with Grantham and his gang, when you give it some thought, it actually allows the offense to open up the game plan. All of us know that we could not do that before with Martinez as defensive coordinator. Superior coaching talent is hard to find, think UGA found one in Grantham.

Folks in Florida are worried about UGA now that they have seen the improvement team wise in Athens. Gators also know that no longer are the Dawgs a pushover. Most of the talk is about the defense in the conversations down this way, although they deeply respect AM and his guts.

Pay the man, keep the wheels on the cart. Nothing but good will come from a happy group of coaches. Happy coaches make happy players, happy coaches and players make for happy fans and Alumni.

Go Dawgs, you have been coached up!
