How I fear the rest of the year will go

What I'm buying into, and make of it what you want, 21-3 in the second half, some desperation or gutsy calls(all depends on how you look at it) that were what everyone here had called for and voila a win over the most hated group of vermin on the face of the earth. It can be real exciting for the rest of the year, but, I saw a team come together, again, and come away with their heads up without having to be a group of thugs like others I have seen. Yep, I'm real proud of our team. Go DAWGS!!

kentdaddy, buc, wlayton, southernlover & all the other die-hard Dawgs stuck in the only state in the country where you have to go north to get to the South are smiling from ear to ear for the next 363 days I trust...Heck, thriller was final able to get rid of that brown paper bag over his head!

Bulldog nation should be all good until Sat. morning. Then it's time to hunker down for the home stretch!

GO DAWGS!!!

Goooooooose......all smiles from me and not just for a week, for AT LEAST 363 more days. My wife said I have been smiling in my sleep the last two nights. Nope, I'm good to go.....I'm a realist but will enjoy last Sat. for a looooonnnnnnggggg time.:woohoo: :woohoo:

Even when the next game comes and I'm worried as usual.....I'll still be a smilin'.

growl this question is to one part of your post. If Walsh had made a couple of the field goal attempts, would we have had the fourth and go for it as we did. Don't take that statement as anything other than wondering as you suggested. Hard sometimes to be the leader and make the necessary calls, or calls in general. Agree that I saw this team do some things that I have not seen before JAX. Beginning to think that I am liking Friend . . . . more and more. Leave him alone and let him do his job. Something along the lines of what Grantham was allowed to do. :)

Thats a good question BUC, but,I think it was inevitable because somebody had his back to the wall(thats the desperation part)and it had gotten to the point of go for it or loose all hope of keeping any part of the fanbase. I saw it more as a real chance to make some points and we really had no choice, like it or not,the two missed field goals had everything to do with those calls. I look for more of that in the coming weeks due to the confidence that was gained from those two plays, and the fact that RS was able to run the ball so well in close and straight ahead. NOW GO DAWGS!!!!!

I am honestly worried about Kentucky. Their horrible team beat us in 2009 and we are slowly starting to develop that smug attitude that I have seen too much of in the past. Luckily Richt's melting pants has given a better drive out of this team.

Good post growl, many times I wonder what others think and what it is that brings you and I to ask each other about the decisions made on the football field. Amazes me at this point that Walsh is the #1 rated kicker by the NFL. Blair is one of "my" boys, somehow he has lost his way, don't like it at all. At some point Richt has to stop hanging on to being faithful to the troops. We had a quarterback a couple of years back and one year before that being handed the job because our coach likes to keep his word. Only thing wrong with that is this . . . . W's and L's keep folks like you and me happy. . . . . Big win over the gators, rest of the week belong to all of us. . . . :)
