How I fear the rest of the year will go

New Mexico State game coming up and have a feeling that we are going to see our offensive line open some pathways for Brandon Harton. Would not be surprised to see Brandon put on one heck of a show. Also would like to see Ogletree getting his hands on the ball, think he will show us some of that toughness his brother exhibits on the other side.

Couldn't agree more Buc...New Mexico State is 111th in the country against the run...we could probably strap a football to Russ' collar and watch him go for 110 yards or so

As I sit and review what's happened this year, both on and off the field, there seems to be one glaring question that I can't answer.... Where's the leadership on this team? Seems as though no one has stepped up and took a leadership position. Would seem that a group of leaders on the team would squash alot of the nonsense that has been occuring this year (dui, drugs, undisclosed crap). Maybe team sports have changed since I was young and maybe it's totally different at the college level which I never played at. As I look back beyond this year seems to have been a deficiency for several of our recent teams. These youngsters need to be held accountable to the team by their teamates. Believe it would make more of an impact than waiting for the "man" to bring down the hammer..

Sorry to get off subject, just wanted to get some of your thoughts... Go Dawgs!!!

Lou Holtz once said no football team lacks leadership, it's just a question of if it's good
leadership or bad leadership. So maybe someone needs to be knocked down as much as someone
else needs to step up.

Believe AM and BJ are our leaders. Maybe they just need to be more vocal.......guarantee you if BJ gets on their collective butts, they'll be all ears.

I hate to single out IC again because there were three bad eggs in that basket, but heard from a source that Jarvis threw IC against the lockers and told him he had better get his _hit together. We can only hope.

Good for Jarvis...

That's leadership... old school, just like I like it.
