sadlerdawg with you on this one.

Not going to be ugly here, just see if my recall is right . . . remember this is coming from an old fart.

Richt wanted this young player more than anyone I have seen him go after, with maybe the only exception being the way he went after Stafford. Richt did not deny that IC would start in Atlanta against Boise State, also did not say he would start.

I do know that IC spent time with Richardson in Tuscaloosa, and his final decision was UGA. Every young high school star wants to move to the next level and be all that. Seldom does that happen, not too many HW's out there.

We have had several come to our campus thinking that they would continue doing what they did in high school. Does not work that way. Another reason that Saban is so successful. Richardson waited his turn and he too will play on Sunday's and make a lot of money. He is ready for that, properly coached and did the necessary things in the training room.

What I am hoping is this . . . . Coaches are changing the way that they are reacting to players and situations in Athens. Needed to be done and continued.

Look at another player from Carver in Columbus, Jones. Released by USC and Richt and his forces (Grantham) offered him a full ride (quickly). Look at the results of Jones having to do the mandatory sit but yet practice with the team, go through the same training rituals. Promised nothing other than an opportunity to play. IC should take note.

From where I sit, my opinion, Isaiah Crowell has to get rid of the BMOC spurs that he appears to be wearing and become a part of "team". He still does not like to block for others, not going to say he does not know how. That is an excuse and is inexcusable. Talented athletes can do ANYTHING. He is in a different situation now, has folks like Ogletree, Jones, Washington, Mitchell, Charles and others, (many others) that dropped the BMOC chevrons and joined forces with the entire team.

wlayton, I have made mention of IC being excited on the sideline after the JAX game. Made me feel good to see him do that. In a nut shell, Crowell lacks maturity. Hoping that he matures a bunch in the offseason and comes back ready to play. All of this sitting on the sidelines bruised is not going to play well for him when the folks in the NFL choose where they will spend the big bucks. If he cannot take the ball inside with purpose, he will be eaten alive trying to make it outside the opponents defensive ends. Everyone is the SEC watches and breaks down film. Richt has said that he would like to see Crowell carry the ball around 20-25 times a game. Appears at this point that he is not up to that.

Will stop, but there is much more to be said . . . . and I probably will . . . . :)

Growl.. I've been saying for awhile that we could line up in the I, have IC run out wide after the snap
but turn and hand it to the FB on a quick hitter and then entire defense would fall over dead due to
shock.

OK, wlayton, whatever you say, my friend. Nothing in my posts have indicated I don't like him. I am questioning the game plan being used if he can't compete 100% every down, that's all. Heck, even you said you started to question his heart. And you sure are putting alot of effort into arguing with me after posting you weren't going to argure with me. Ends up just like most of our converstaions, so just to avoid that in the future, I'll just reply to your posts to me with, Whatever you say, my friend.
