Can't have it both ways. Either he's "the Man", and the coaches are going to hang the game plan on him, or he has trouble getting used to getting his bell rung, in which case he should be the 8-10 carry relief back. If he's going to start, then he should finish. We're not talking about one game here, it's pretty much every game.
Well, actually the staff doesn't have any dang options BUT to play him. Who else we got???

my point early on when some said it was the coach who made him sit.....don't think so....he sat becuase he took a couple SEC type hits......did not want to go back in.....until he saw RS score the game winner.....

We have several other backs, not as talented, but if IC gets "hurt" as much as he does, one of those boo-boos is going to become an injury, in which case they'll have to play somebody else without even having IC as a relief option.

Our plans to develop IC and transition him to a full time player over a period of time were thrown
out the window when King and Ealey left.

Exactly. As I said, not really any choice but to play him.
And he's not a Lattimore, not many are.....he's a man.

So just curious, what do you guys suggest we do if/when he gets injured, not just hurt? Forfeit?
