Few examples:
last year's whole season....
McElroy at BAMA.....13.45 average (old conservative BAMA)
Relf at MSU.......13.86 (he's terrible)
Newton at AU.....15,42 (obviously good but so is AM's arm)
I'll take 8.3 as long as we are winning and controlling the game like you were talking about though.
Couldn't agree more wlayton...the TN game is a perfect example. Stick with the high percentage passing plays (albeit, low yardage producing) and take the occassional shots down field. If he hits on one or two of those a game, we'll see the yds/completion start to creep up to where it needs to be.

wlayton wrote: I believe AM's long ball is a little off because MM is faster than TK. If you've noticed, the long balls he DOES connect with is to MM. Then he'll throw a long one to TK and over throw him. Just a difference in speed between the two.
Also, I'm glad he's not running quite as much, don't need him hurt (I know, I know, he can stay in the pocket and get hurt with our OL).
Now against UF, do ANYTHING to win that game, AM can run 20 times as long as we win.
Well he must have thought he was throwing to TK on that play, because if he hits MM in stride he goes for 6!
