I'll worry about it when and if the need arises.

It's tough. I like the idea of KSmart, but I don't want us to
tank this season or any other.

So yeah... Smart.. if it's unfortunately time to find a new
HC. It's something I hate to see happen because it means another bad season just passed.

Would add this. If we are going to question time in grade again like we did a short time back. I would argue the point that Smart has had more time under a coach and system that works than some that are routinely suggested.

I still have a problem with those that think you have to had worn the hat before it fits. Smart under Saban has learned more about football than he learned in all of his prior years of coaching and playing. If it were to come to the point of hiring a coach, not for a minute would I hesitate to hire Kirby Smart based on lack of experience. Makes absolutely no sense in his case. My opinion.

I would hire KS too, but I would be patient with him. Yeah, he has worked for Saban. Yeah, Saban has nothing but praise for him. Still willing to bet there are times when Saban informs KS of exactly what they are going to do on that side of the ball. That guidance will be gone. After they fire Richt, I hope this is who we go after.

Another positive about KS, he is a helluva a recruiter. Seems like every prospect that committs to bama talks about the relationship they have with KS. Also, willing to bet that his heart is still Red and Black.

Wart, I am just going with the flow. I have made my points about Richt and I am not going to anymore. Everyone wants him gone, and that is never going to change. Some will not rest about it until he is gone.

Averagedawg, I really like Smart, but I also like Patterson, Peterson, and Whittingham(although he is not impressing me very much lately)

Lot of talent way down there in Georgia.
I hope we win every game left on our schedule and when/if Coach Richt hangs it up, it's an amicable split.
I don't know the man but I think his heart is in the ministry.

I agree with everything except the Adams part.

I'm as big a football fan as anyone, and I don't like Adams' personality, BUT his job is to make the University the best Academic institutuion it can be--and he has done that incredibly well.

It is now up there with UVA as far as public schools are concerned. Hell, I graduated from there but couldn't get in today. I know it's the lottery having alot to do withy that, but we don't punt on 4th and 1 because of Adams; we don't have three turnovers in a game because of Adams. We can keep Adams and STILL win a championship.

This is the same president who was there when we played in three SEC title games in 4 years.
