Predictions

Probably a stupid post, but anyway.
Predictions and/or wishes:

Will Muschamp's honeymoon ends sooner than later.
Emotion is one thing but the man can't control his rage. There is a big difference between coaching and losing it. Muschamp's a jerk. I hope he fails miserably.

Coach Richt goes out on a winning note. I hope we finish the season strong and CMR realizes that he is probably never going to reach the football promised land. He can leave with his head held high.

King Adams resigns, or better yet, fired. He's been there way too long which, I guess, attests to his political skills. See you later, Mike.

Kirby Smart is the next head football coach at UGA. Let's face it, we ain't gonna get Saban. Looking at Smart, I see a Saban clone, the right mix of passion and brains. Saban has gone on record as saying Smart is the hardest working assistant he has ever had and that in itself speaks volumes about Smart. The man and his wife are Georgia through and through and personally I think he would be a great coach. Young, smart and committed. Saban would not stand in his way. We could afford him and he would make us proud.

As I said, probably a dumb post but I love the University of Georgia and I think these changes would be good.

averagedawg, nothing dumb about this thread. Not a single thing I can disagree with. Down my way, folks don't like Muschamp, at all.

Glad that we have a chance to bring Smart on board, not Muschamp, the dude that has put thumbs down on the only D1 school that I am aware of that offered him a scholarhip. My understanding, recruiters were not scrambling to get his signature.

Maybe he can latch on with Bobo at some high school. Bobo offense, Muschamp defense. One with his head in the sand and the other barking at the base of a tree.

Brother, you know that I want a victory in Knoxville, one of the main reasons is you.

Adams, at some point, have promised this before, going to lay a lot of "stuff" out here to be perused.

Agree, and some of my friends that support Florida used the same word that you did . . . JERK.

Buc, The thing that impresses me about Smart is his work ethic.
The man lives to work and he loves coaching.
I want a head coach who lives and breathes football, 24/7.

Averagedawg, nothing dumb about that. There are about 3 coaches that we could realistically hire that I think would be good hires. I worry a little about Smart's experience but I wouldn't mind seeing him back in the Red and Black.

Not a muschamp fan. I will give the guy credit about his staff. He put together a helluva staff, but don't see it lasting very long. Too many egos. Jerk. Perfect description.

Speaking of KS as a HC. I maybe wrong about this, but I believe he worked with a fella named Major Applewhite. Not sure where he is now, but always thought he would develop into a helluva OC.

Kirby Smart would be a great fit here, but, wouldnt be surprised to hear that Jeff Monken at Georgia Southern might be looked at more than just a little and could be a top choice. Lots of experience at Navy under Paul Johnson, and at (cough,cough) gt(insects),but never the less experience.

I worry a little about the experience factor too. But as a senior, I really love it when the younger generation succeeds. Eventually he will move to the next level. Maybe just a hunch, but he seems a good fit. Curious, AllDawgs5, what are your other 2 picks?
