Tale of Two Halfs

We came out to make a statement in the beginning of todays game, only to look horrible in the second half. Our defensive unit is excluded from the second part of my opening statement. Since the BSU game, our defense has been really good. 17 against USC, shutout FCS opponent, 6 from Ole Miss, and three today. Our offense on the other hand...SUCKS. AM won't stop pushing the ball into places he shouldn't and the second half of today our O-line couldn't open a hole for IC. After this win I feel the same exact way as I did last weekend. We won, but it was ugly and I don't think it will work against Tenn or UF. I can be satisfied with just a win don't get me wrong, but the offense needs to vastly improve. It probably won't get any better until Richt takes over the play calling COMPLETELY or we hire a new OC...ridiculous.

Plain and simple for 2011...WIN

Very vanilla on offense in second half. We ran the same handful of plays. Either saving some things for UT and UF or no killer instinct! Don't know how to call that one.

I have to believe that CMR is smart enough to go vanilla. Saw the defense had control, and wanted to save plays for UT. I would not give Bono that credit, but I do believe CMR knew they were in control and didn't want to give to much more game plan to future opponents.

I was frustratd with the lack of offense in second half.

A little concerned with the way AM tried to force a couple passes in. Definitely did not like the 3 int's.

I was very impressed with 1st half of play also. thought offense came out flat in 2nd half. Defense played lights out all game did not give up any TDs. Great job. I don't know if MSU made appropriate adjustments or if we just pulled back on reigns. we should have scored at least 14 more points. When playing TN, FL GT, we will need to score at every opportunity.

Let's have more long, time consuming drives that end with TDs.

yeah great coaching....hold back and don't give your Offense any confidence boost by running some plays that the other teams might see.......that is just dumb...you think Muschamp is going to hold back or Chizik or Johnson for that matter.....yeah hold back so we don't reveal any "secrets".......Bobo ain't got no "secrets"...why should we reign in our talent.....let em play football......going "vanilla" is going to get us beat and beat badly
