What have you seen over the say past 2 years that makes you think we should not be concerned about anybody much less OM with their coach on the hot seat. I probably am the leader of the doom and gloom, for I an at the stage where I want to be shown things have changed for the better. I don't get caught up in all the hype of big talk and what I am doing ect. I want to be shown that you will hit somebody, to be in shape for 4 quarters, block, tackle ect. So yea, their is concern about OM, and yes we should win with all the talent we have, but you know what, we don't have any coaches.
Gotta agree Duck...granted it's a fine line, but there is a line between "doom & gloom" and "harsh reality." Unfortunately I think we're on the harsh reality side of things. Pretty sure we're batting sub .500 against SEC competition over the past two years. Heck, we BARELY squeaked by Vandy ourselves a few years ago and that was with Knowshon and Stafford! Hate to be this way, but until we consistently start beating SEC foes again, I'll be more nervous than confident whether we're playing Bama or Ole Miss.
Ive been lurking around. Mostly just reading everyones thoughts. Havent had much to say that hasnt already been said on here. And to answer your question about the last two years, the answer unfortunatley is NOTHING. But, and a big BUT, you and I both know in our heart of hearts that OM is far worse than we are at this point in time.
Honcho, I am definitely on the "harsh reality" side of the coin. To me "doom and gloom" is taking the type of situation our team is in and talking it down even more, which makes it worse. Im not here to blow smoke up anyones keyster or anything like that, but this years team is not last years, or the years before that. We lost to #5 and "lost" to #12. I want to say that our 2 toughest games of the year are out of the way, I hope I'm right....

Man, I hope you're right too! Good news is, on paper, we had literally the toughest opening two games in the country and we've seemed to get better each week. If we find a way to continue to improve and, most importantly, find the guys to step up in the case of injuries...I do honestly think we have a chance at a great season the rest of the way. I just hate saying it out loud...
And dang, it JUST hit me that for the first time in my life, being a Falcons fan and a Bulldawgs fan feels EXACTLY the same...week to week, and lately year to year, you never know what to expect.

growl, hope that Bobo is not going to hang on like WM did. Maybe I should say it this way . . . . if Richt and Bobo think that they are on the right path, then it goes further than the offensive coordinator. Maybe as was said in another thread, the game has passed Richt by. Hard for me to believe that, however it could be factual.
This thread is about UGA/Ole Miss. If we don't get after them and score some points (7 not 3) we could have our plate full. Full of problems that come with letting folks hang around. We have a history of that under the present leadership.
No more "Mister Nice Guy". If we beat Ole Miss by 10 or 50 there will changes in that program. Lose to them . . . . .??? ogredawg laid out the perfect game plan, which tells me that Bobo will probably go the opposite way and get AM mauled . . . . again. Stay in the pocket AM, Richt/Bobo don't want you moving around and getting a clear view of your receivers. Stop Buc, you are getting po'd.
Edit: growl, you don't check your Dog Pound messages?
