I realize the state that the program is in right now, but getting on here and reading nothing but doom and gloom is starting to get on my nerves....not what I am used to seeing on this site.

GO DAWGS

it is not the PLAYERS that worries me......but inept play calling by Bobo that does worry me.....OM is at home and thier fans just like we are fired up about inept coaching......hope it is going to be a cake walk but inept coaching has shown me over the last 3 years that nothing is a cake walk.....

"If things were the way they should be..."

That says it all regarding the doom and gloom.

With the OL situation the way it is, I VERY concerned for AM's well being. If Bozo continues calling those long pass plays, AM will eventually get hammered.

Dawg1277, man where have you been. What have you seen over the say past 2 years that makes you think we should not be concerned about anybody much less OM with their coach on the hot seat. I probably am the leader of the doom and gloom, for I an at the stage where I want to be shown things have changed for the better. I don't get caught up in all the hype of big talk and what I am doing ect. I want to be shown that you will hit somebody, to be in shape for 4 quarters, block, tackle ect. So yea, their is concern about OM, and yes we should win with all the talent we have, but you know what, we don't have any coaches.

Good point Dawg1277. Unfortunately, Wartdawg's reply sums it up. Things AIN'T the way they should be. Other 2 points by ogredawg & gillette are spot on as well & I'll throw in one more cause for concern. Ole Miss & CHN need a win as much or possibly even more so than UGA & CMR.

But in the spirit of comradery, I'll try to share in Dawg1277's confidence, here it goes:

"The Dawgs are gonna beat Ole Miss so badly on Sat. the trees in the Grove are gonna uproot themselves & run like hell towards the sound of distant cowbells down in Starkville"

Gotta agree Duck...granted it's a fine line, but there is a line between "doom & gloom" and "harsh reality." Unfortunately I think we're on the harsh reality side of things. Pretty sure we're batting sub .500 against SEC competition over the past two years. Heck, we BARELY squeaked by Vandy ourselves a few years ago and that was with Knowshon and Stafford! Hate to be this way, but until we consistently start beating SEC foes again, I'll be more nervous than confident whether we're playing Bama or Ole Miss.
