Ole Miss

How does everyone feel going into the Ole Miss game. Do we go in there a win or do we find another way to lose. History says that we have a hard time in Oxford, and HN will have his team playing for his job. You can bet Ole Miss will play their best game of the year. I just hope that our team continues to grow and get better each game. I feel if we blow this game, we go into a down hill spirial.

Just wanted to know what others were thinking about this weekend.

Wasn't concerned until learning of losing 2 more OL......zero depth, that alone could lose the game for us. Otherwise, I felt 2 days ago we should win by 2 TD's. This OL situation is BAD.

I completely agree w/your assesment. Ole Miss will be WAY UP for this one & will play us better than they've played anybody all year. That said, I'm feeling like this one will be close & that was BEFORE all of the OL issues popped up. Unlike the SC & Boise game, I'm going into this Sat. expecting a Dawgs win but I do think it will be a very tough, hard fought contest. Lastly, I don't even want to think about the state of the program should we lose on Sat.-Yikes!

Whether we like it or not somebody has to step up and play where they are'nt used to. Whatever happened to cross training in different positions? This is the problem I have with the coaching staff, forward thinking. The talent is there and it needs to be used for something besides a good scrimmage game. Do what the top teams do and utilize them to their full extent. No telling what you might find if you look hard enough. I'll guarantee you some of these kids would appreciate the chance. I dont know who they are,but, then again, I'm not watching them every day. No more excuses! Sic 'em Dawgs!!!!

I am with GooseDawg78 on his statement of YIKES if we don't come out of Mississippi with a win.

One other thing that bothers me is if we have a chance to "lay it on Ole Miss", don't go back into that mode of being "nice".

Agree with everyone, I just fear that we will go back to the old self destruct mode playing an SEC team. It seems we look great playing HS teams, then we get to the SEC and we throw interceptions, we fumble, lose consecration and make mental mistakes. Of course this all goes back to what Buc and Wlayton keep saying, coach them up. It just seems like UGA has lost the desire to win and the know how to win. We played great I think in the USC games with the few exceptions. I just don't feel like we will play that way against Ole Miss. I hope I am wrong, but I just have a bad feeling about this game.
