Nope I am not FIRST! That belongs to the younger generation, I think, and of course the AJC.
Okay, compared to you guys, I'm still a bed-wetter.

Pardon or forgive me if I am wrong, do however think that the following applies to the "Pups" that were not mentioned in this thread.
Have had some time to look over the folks that have come and gone from UGA football in the recent past. Thinking about some of the comments that have been made by the "Pups" that are still in Athens and working their collective butts off, wanting to change the past few years of "look at me".
Here goes. . . .
Justin Houston, not showing up for the team that drafted him. Guess he needs more rest or maybe some of the ghosts from his past have come to the forefront. Won't go into those details, if you don't know or are not aware, do some research. Rate him . . . shoulda, coulda, woulda . . . big bucks, never happen. Good football player, not so much in the NFL.
Brent Benedict, apparently had a problem with JTII. Joe T was one of the coaches that could have insured this young man a future. Rate him . . . lazy and too much "fatherly advice".
Waushan Ealey, classic case of BMOC. Young fellow was without a doubt a D1 football player. Lazy and self centered. Cared only for himself. A bit late getting an education, that begins in the first grade. Sad.
A. J. Harmon, sometimes size does not matter. At one point prior to moving on to college football, could have signed with any school in the country. Some folks forget the pact made with the school. You have to crack the books. Basket weaving is not as tough as it used to be. Lots of big, bad football players at the next level. Try blocking some of the DT's on the Detroit Lions. Just a reminder.
Caleb King, the light went on too late. Another case of BMOC. One of these days some of these young studs are going to realize that they are only one part of the team. Will always think that his injuries were more of a problem than any of us knew. Appreciate Caleb or the copy writer, or the agent that had the good sense to not back slap UGA as his reason for leaving.
OK, there have been others. Good place to say this. Richt and his staff hired these young "Pups" and all of us have to live by our choices.
I believe that the smartest thing I have seen happen to UGA in more years than I can count is this, hired McGarity as Athletic Director. The closer I look, the more I see the influence of Mick beginning to rebuild what was once a very proud athletic program. Never been a believer in Adams . . . this hire I tip my hat to him. That was hard.
I know that I talk too much, but I am not any different than the rest of you, I care.
Go Dawgs! Coach Them Up!! We have talent. Talent like we have in Athens should not cause any hot seats. Hot seats usually have a reason. One Old Fart's opinion that is proud to be among a bunch of "Pups". Truth.
:woohoo:

Where does the yes man thought come from. Is it based on something that you are aware of, or just an opinion. Just asking.
