If you folks have not read this, good information. Grantham is becoming more impressive day by day to me.

Buc,

Man, I hate to sound like Negative Nate here, but I don't take anything away from this except that we probably haven't put in as much BSU study as they have on us. Hope we don't get run out of the Dome.

I guess I am so beaten down by the bad karma the last 3 years that the glass is half empty:)

Brother, I feel you.

This is exactly the reason that I like Grantham. He does not cry and woe is UGA as Dooley would do for many years about the next opponent. Grantham would have everyone believe that Boise State is not on our schedule, much less the first game of the season. This guy is good. He knows that the entire football team is reading everything that is being said on blogs and in the media.

Promise you, there is not one foot, 12 inches of tape that he has not watched on Boise State. We finally have a coach that understands motivation and the way you handle the press.

Might get run out of the Georgia Dome, many things can happen. From where I sit, it will not be because our defensive coach did not have a game plan. I like Grantham, I like the way he coaches. Also like the way he handles the press. The other side of the ball could learn volumes from Grantham. My opinion. :)

Not to worry, I guess. Would like to see some names go up on the board before the recruiting season is over.

commits

•WR CJ Curry, Flowery Branch HS
•DE-LB Leonard Floyd, Dodge County HS
•DE Jalen Fields, Georgia Military JC
•WR Lonnie Outlaw, Georgia Military JC
•TE Ty Smith, Colquitt County HS
•K Marshall Morgan, Miami (Fla.)
•FB Quayvon Hicks, Peirce County HS
•P Colin Barber, Cartersville HS
•DT Jonathan Taylor, Jenkins County HS
•DE-LB James DeLoach, Jenkins County HS

Don't see a lot of offensive linemen in this group, maybe tonight or in the near future Richt will realize that running backs, quarterbacks and receivers can't operate without the big'uns. Running a pro style offense, better have protection for the quarterback and be able to open holes for the running game. Richt/Bobo know that . . . right. Bet Friend does.

John Theus commited.........how is that for a OL to the list...

Dawg Night ended up being a big night for the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs’ annual elite prospect camp netted five commitments on Friday, including a pledge from five-star-rated offensive tackle John Theus of Jacksonville for the Class of 2012.

Theus (6-6, 292) was a huge pickup for the Bulldogs. He’s rated top among the top three tackles in the nation by both Scout and Rivals. His brother Nathan Theus is a freshman long snapper who will be starting his UGA career this fall. Theus chose the Bulldogs over Florida and Texas. He becomes the 11th committed member of the Class of 2012.

“Yes, sir, I did [commit to Georgia],” Theus said in a short telephone confirmation. “There was a big group that did.”

The AJC confirmed three commitments from Class of 2013 prospects: Quarterback Brice Ramsey of Camden County (6-3, 197); running back Derrick Henry (6-3, 225) of Yulee, Fla.; and athlete Tramel Terry (5-11, 173) of Goose Creek, S.C.

Rusty Mansell, who covers recruiting for 247Sports.com and Dawgs247.com, reported that Stanley Williams, a 2014 running back from Appalachee High in Bethelem, also committed to the Bulldogs.

Ramsey’s commitment is particularly important since Georgia is not going to sign a quarterback in the Class of 2012. Ramsey is generally considered the state’s top signalcaller in his class.

“I certainly felt like Brice was leaning that way for a long time,” Camden County coach Jeff Herron said. “He has been to Georgia camp several times. He really has a lot of respect for Coach Richt and Coach Bobo has a built a great relationship with them. I felt he was leaning toward Georgia, even though he was getting pressed when he went to Florida this summer, along with Florida State and Clemson. I felt like has always talked about Georgia differently.

“He called me tonight and said, ‘Look, Coach, I want to go ahead make it official.’ I said, ‘I certainly don’t have a problem with that Brice. Congratulations.’”

AJC recruiting reporter Michael Carvell will have more later on all these recruiting developments
