AMOver the past 4 years, would it be safe to say that ON AVERAGE, UGA has had top 3 talent in the SEC? On the other hand, we have Top 8 coaching.
right on Buc, another loss to UF and SC, and CMR HAS to be gone.
I don't want a cheater in here, but I DO want someone who refuses to lose our state's best players to freakin Auburn. Look at Chizick: 5-19 at Iowa State, and three years later, it is safe to say, he is a better recruiter than CMR. How?? By selling hope, fame, etc et c etc. Sizzle.
. If CMR goes, you have 2-3 names you feel could bring sizzle to the program?
Smart? Petersen? Gruden? That dude from BYU??
I know some of those names are not possible, but just tossing out some that would interest me.

A great defense can make even a Bobo lead offense look good. Short fields and lots of turnovers are what we need.

BulldogShannon, one name that I would toss out right away would be Jon Gruden. Toss out meaning that would be a serious mistake. He is all about himself, period. Have many stories that I could pass along about him. ESPN is not going to let him get away, brings in too much jack.
I would be better equipped to toss a name or two out at the end of this season. If for some reason Richt was relieved of his duties before the end of football season, I would select Grantham. One thing for sure, there would be many "qualified" coaches barking in Athens.
Quite frankly, don't see a lot of difference between Grantham and Muschamp. That is another story that has not been told at this point in time.

Tavarres King named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List.
Orson Charles named to the Mackey Award Watch List.
Aaron Murray named to the Maxwell Award Watch List.
Brandon Boykin named to the Bednarik Award Watch List. List Boykin because of his return capabilities.
Sounds as if there is some talent on the Offensive side of the ball. Have to agree. Couple of pieces being added to the unit that should make all of the above even more effective.
Great punter, great kicker, maybe this entire group can give the defense some field position to play their nasty games. Grantham made no bones about wanting to get after the quarterback. Guess we get to see just how effective "Grantham's" version of the 3/4 is. Appears he has the pieces he wanted to move UGA on to bigger and better things.
Just looking over the prospects of improving over the last couple of years.
Coach’em up . . .

Speaking of improving over the last couple of years, Buc, I'm sure most have already seen this article, but I'll post the link here anyway:

States what I was already thinking, in that we had too many close games last year. This doesn't excuse a darn thing from last year, but it gives me a glimmer of hope for this year. Combine this with Boise State's schedule quality from last year, and I truly think we will be 1-0 going into the second game. Hard to say after that . . .
