Suppose you have a million dollars to invest in the markets. Are you going to hire an experienced money manager, that has 20-25 years managing money in these crazy global markets or are you going to hire a second year money manager that hasn't been in the trenches in tough markets etc that very well MAY BE a FUTURE great money manager but has no real professional experience?
I know without a DOUBT who you would chose........(just sayin')
If the experienced guy was from AIGFP or involved in the private MBS market I would shoot him and then hide his body.
I do understand your point, but I do not believe running a football program takes anywhere near the smarts of managing complex financial instruments. I have talked to Bobby Bowden at length.
Smacking this dead horse around even more. So far 9 of the teams Boise State used as punching bags last year are OUTSIDE the top 60 of Yahoo's preseason poll, including the only team they lost to. Four of the teams we played are outside the top 60, and CMR managed to lose to one of those as well. Total MEANINGLESS drivel, I know. Just sayin'.
