Not to beat a dead horse . . . okay, I'll beat it a little:

I was just looking at Yahoo preseason rankings (meaningless, but they at least can give us a GENERAL VIEW of relative team strengths) and here is an interesting PATTERN.

Wyoming - 2011 preseason rank = 93
Utah State - 2011 preseason rank = 104
San Jose St. - 2011 preseason rank = 111
Idaho - 2011 preseason rank = 114
New Mexico State - 2011 preseason rank = 120

I'll be the FIRST to point out that just because almost half of the teams Boise State whipped last season are in the bottom 30, that does NOT mean Boise State was a fake. Not at all. I'm only pointing out that this 12-1 record doesn't impress me as much, nor do the gaudy stats, when taken IN CONTEXT. They are a team to be taken DEADLY SERIOUSLY, but NOT to be feared based on a 12-1 record. We played some "weak" teams too, but I truly believe we would've had a MUCH better record with the same schedule.

Coach 'em up, CMR. Prove it on the field. Athlete versus athlete, we take 'em. Coaching staff versus coaching staff - I agree with wlayton - average coaching by us will win this one.

Like Auburn did with Oregon and UGA did with Hawaii if UGA can get pressure on Moore (especially up the middle with a very large black man) then the defense can dictate what happens. it may not happen, but it can.

Oregon came into that game with a high flying offense and all the left coast, brie fueled sissy boy confidence in the world. Fairley the cheater blew that shit up really quickly.
