Washaun Ealey said:
"I'm a person where I want to be a premier back," Ealey said. "If I was to play here, I would have had to share the backfield with Caleb and Carlton also. Then they were going to try to give the freshman, Isaiah, his chance. He probably was going to get some carries at the beginning of the year, too. I just felt like I didn't want to be in that mix of things anymore."
There sure a lot of "I"s in that statement.
The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

Agree with you DAWG1277, get Ken Malcome ready to play this season. Went back this morning and watched some film of the young man. He can play in the SEC. Isaiah Crowell comes in and gets into the program and playbook quickly, we will not miss some of the folks that have been such distractions. Like what sadlerdawg pointed out about Ealey's comments. Uses the word "I" too often. Once again, much used phrase, there is no I in TEAM. Boise State has proven that under its current leadership.
Noticed you have been checking the board out, really glad to have you back posting.

The rumor mill is churning that Caleb King didnt make his grades to play this year...Same situation for AJ Harmon. Lets hope that Ken Malcome and IC are the "Marcus Lattimore" we need this year....
Welcome back DAWG1277.
After reading your post I emailed "my guy" to see if he had heard anything as well about their situations. Here's what he said.....
"I have heard rumblings about Harmon in the past, but the belief was that he had gotten his act together academically…. At least enough for him to participate in spring practice. I think Caleb has been borderline in the past academically, but I haven’t heard anything negative about him of late."

My generation for the most part is a dissapointment in my eyes. There are too many guys/girls who have no idea what life is about nor care to find out. At least you guys can say that wasn't a problem with you guys. I have known too many people that depend on their parents once they graduated high school to take care of everything...surprised they don't wipe for em'. I think the problem lies of course with how todays college athletes are raised and how much their parents were involved with their lives. I'm just glad that I can say my mother placed me on the right path. I for one would like to see "BOO" carry the rock with IC. CK has had his chance and in the past few seasons I've grown tired of the dancing in the backfield. He can be utilized in a play such as a reverse with his speed, but I don't care for his "attempt" to run between the tackles. This is just my opinion in what I have seen the past couple of years.
P.S. Steve can you/I change my name to UGAgata, my current one is WAY to long?
Unfortunately I think you may be right. It seems to be all your fault. Awfully big of you to step up ad accept the blame.

In reality I have actually been doing a little studying and much of the problem we now see can be traced to the 80's movement of everyone is a winner and everyone gets a trophy and we have to cater to peoples self esteem. We as a nation made an entire generation of self entitled candy asses who think things are owed them.
