Ealey Gone

My generation for the most part is a dissapointment in my eyes. There are too many guys/girls who have no idea what life is about nor care to find out. At least you guys can say that wasn't a problem with you guys. I have known too many people that depend on their parents once they graduated high school to take care of everything...surprised they don't wipe for em'. I think the problem lies of course with how todays college athletes are raised and how much their parents were involved with their lives. I'm just glad that I can say my mother placed me on the right path. I for one would like to see "BOO" carry the rock with IC. CK has had his chance and in the past few seasons I've grown tired of the dancing in the backfield. He can be utilized in a play such as a reverse with his speed, but I don't care for his "attempt" to run between the tackles. This is just my opinion in what I have seen the past couple of years.

P.S. Steve can you/I change my name to UGAgata, my current one is WAY to long?

Plain and simple for 2011...WIN

I agree with that, "UGAgata", and think Boo will probably get more carries than CK, just based on what I've heard from some folks. I think it will depend on his injury, which definitely should be 100% by fall.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

Washaun Ealey said:

"I'm a person where I want to be a premier back," Ealey said. "If I was to play here, I would have had to share the backfield with Caleb and Carlton also. Then they were going to try to give the freshman, Isaiah, his chance. He probably was going to get some carries at the beginning of the year, too. I just felt like I didn't want to be in that mix of things anymore."

That quote says it all: "I don't want to compete. I want everything handed to me without any effort on my part and no competition. I'm intimidated easily by guys I've never even seen."

Maybe this explains some of those butter finger moments and lack of fire. Goodbye Washaun. See you in the NFL. Not.
