Ran across this short time ago. Southern Cal and others have been nailed for less than this. Apologize for veering away from the thread subject, really can't stomach leaders allowing these young athletes to side step what college sports should be about. This is not the first time for Jim Tressel skirting the NCAA. Think back to the AJ admission of guilt, the problems that caused many folks, including you and I, and this snake showing contempt (as I see it) for fair play. His ass should be barred from ever coaching organized football again. Guess all of those SEC butt kickings rattled his cage.

kentdaddy, think that another major problem is the NCAA. Don't know who those folks are making the decisions, however some very poor decisions are being made. Allowing the OSU players to participate in the Sugar Bowl, starting their suspensions the following season. . . . what? NCAA and Tressel should be wrapped in the same package and given the same outcomes. Tressel is a joke, NCAA has always been a joke. Follow the money.

Im suprised that Trussel stayed around for this to happen, unlike Pete Carroll. Just makes me wonder whats going through the minds of some plainsmen? On a side note about Jenkins, he will be ready! He seems to be a very personable person who understands the tradition and the expecations of us fans. Hell, he even wished Sadler(Happy)dawg a happy bday on facebook! LOL
