On a side note about Jenkins, he will be ready! He seems to be a very personable person who understands the tradition and the expecations of us fans. Hell, he even wished Sadler(Happy)dawg a happy bday on facebook! LOL

fire_dawg, when Jenkins did that, that really let me know he is not a "me, me, me" type person. Actually cares about us fans. I'm expecting big things from him.

You lie to the NCAA and you WILL be fired.....count on it. My understanding is that no coach has lied to the NCAA and NOT been fired.

averagedawg......Myer was my first thought too but the more I thought about it, he has such a short amount of time to put his system in, I think his ego will keep him from accepting. He needs a lot of time to establish that system or it won't work.....losing doesn't set well with his ego, as we all have seen lately. He's got a pretty good TV gig right now which keeps his ego and image intact.

But......who know's, maybe he will?

Meyer will end up at OSU.

He was riding high at UF with Tebow, let one of the two jobs pass that he has always wanted, Notre Dame. theOhio State is the place for UM. Appears that Tressel will take the hit from his latest foul up. OSU will be free to move along without penalty. Something like that. Don't think Meyer would turn the job down if offered.

kentdaddy, think that another major problem is the NCAA. Don't know who those folks are making the decisions, however some very poor decisions are being made. Allowing the OSU players to participate in the Sugar Bowl, starting their suspensions the following season. . . . what? NCAA and Tressel should be wrapped in the same package and given the same outcomes. Tressel is a joke, NCAA has always been a joke. Follow the money.

I think the NCAA let the players play in the bowl game because they were working off of false information. If they knew Tressel had lied I doubt they would have played.

Believe you are both right. I am sure Tressell didn't tell the exact truth before the bowl game. I am betting he only told what he knew he could get by with. The NCAA, well I am not even going to start. Hell, maybe we should have had Richt suggest to them that AJ would sit out his 4 games the following year.

I think Meyer just might take the job. OSU has a very good dual threat QB, which is needed for his system, and that conference is easier to win than the SEC. On the other hand, I believe Pryor is suspended the first 4 games, and I think he went to OSU because he wanted to become more of a pro-style QB. Who knows?
