If we come out of Atlanta with a W, speaking for myself, changes the following week in Athens between the HEDGES. SS has a problem with winning football games when he is facing a team that is coming off of a win over a top ten team. Make no mistake, Boise State is not rated as highly as they are without reason, this is a team that plays for one another. You know that, I know that.

Already Boise State, and the folks that spin for them are talking about this being a home game for UGA. I accept that, have came close a time or two posting on their sites, old as I am, try to avoid conflict. The reason I say that is this . . . . they feel like you do. Game is in the bag. I hope that you have this figured out, and not to be "catty" . . . still scares the p-doodle out of me.

Buc, I tried to not seem "cocky" in our team coming off a 6-7 season. I did a little, but I don't think we have the game in the bag to say. Rather, after looking at their previous opponents over the last...maybe 5 years, there isn't anything that strikes fear in me. Of course I'll be MUCH more concerned as game day nears, but right now I have a really good feeling about the outcome of this game. Come sept 3rd...all of my fingernails will be missing. Might have to start on the toes when the game starts and as it progresses....j/k

The key to beating BSU will be good old fashioned SEC style kill the QB. Moore has to be put on his back side many times for us to win.

If a moron like Martinez could design a game plan to put the goofy qb (I don't even remember his name) from Hawaii's vaunted run and shoot offense on his back the entire game, I have confidence that Coach Grantham can have some guys having a "meet and greet" with Moore in his backfield most of the game.

Many of the UGA football players are saying that they understand Grantham's system now. Grantham said from the get go, when he stepped on field for the first practice in Athens that his defense was one of getting to the QB.

Lots of changes are being made and expect more to be made on the D side of the ball. Coaches had another year to get to know each other, important I think.

Lots of bruises, aches and pains coming out of Spring practice, this is not a WM type of coaching philosophy. Players are getting after it this Spring, jobs at stake, don't think Grantham plays favorites, strikes me as playing winners.

Looking forward to the matchup between Kwame and Jones Saturday. Or, Kwame and ? Get ESPN3 on my computer, will plug into the TV and watch the Red and Black.

born2bAdawg, personally I like to hear what everyone has to say. Would much rather have you pulling for rather than against. Last year we did not have a clue as to how the team would play from week to week. I like consistency.

Buc, with Grantham coming from the NFL....... ALL the NFL defensive scheme's is getting after the QB. That's why the rush DE's in the NFL make the big bucks, they are rare and sought after in a BIG way.

Gotta hit KM up to the whistle.......every chance we get. We need to get him to the point of looking over his shoulder, listening for footsteps........and wanting his mama.
