Meyer spent time with his family. Then I guess they got tired of his whining ass and sent him back to work.
Understand that Meyer still has a desk on coaches row in Gainesville. At some point, not sure when of course, there will be a problem with the current coaches and Meyer.
Foley will get the most out of Meyer while he has a spot on ESPNU. We will hear a lot of chatter about how wonderful UF is and what a great place to play the game of football. Leave it to AD Jeremy Foley to expand his power base, dude is relentless.

That next morning Mark Richt — the coach who takes stoicism to new frontiers, the one so criticized for his lack of sideline showmanship — staged an elaborate production for Crowell’s benefit.
The 18-year-old and his family were shown to Richt’s new office, overlooking the recently completed indoor practice facility. As they visited, the Crowells noticed activity down below. Players began filing onto the practice field.
“We got up and looked out,” said Debbie Crowell, Isaiah’s mother. “I didn’t know what was going on, but Isaiah could tell that they were getting into formation. And there wasn’t a tailback.”
The stage was set. Richt escorted the family down to the field. Crowell was handed a Georgia jersey — No. 1 on the back — and a helmet and asked if he wanted to take that empty spot in the backfield. Debbie Crowell remembers Richt painting the scene of next season’s opener against Boise State, asking her son if he could see himself in that jersey and helmet, behind that offensive line, starting his career in the din of the Georgia Dome.
“Yes, sir, I can,” Isaiah said.
“My baby was excited. He was ready to go,” Debbie said.
It was official: The hunt for a difference-making running back had turned the staid Richt into P.T. Barnum.

Defensive Position Recruiting Rankings
DEFENSIVE END
5. GEORGIA
Ray Drew
Sterling Bailey
Drew was tough for the opposing offensive line to stop both in practice and the game during Army week. The five-star prospect was a huge grab for the Bulldogs. Rivals250 prospect Bailey is another player at the position that Georgia managed to keep in-state.
DEFENSIVE BACK
4. GEORGIA
Malcolm Mitchell
Damian Swann
Corey Moore
Quintavious Harrow
Mitchell made a huge jump to the No. 30 prospect overall and No. 1 cornerback after an impressive showing at the Under Armour game. Swann is another big corner who has plenty of speed so he should be able to match up with more physical receivers. Moore plays downhill at safety to be a big force against the run.
ATHLETE
5. GEORGIA
Nick Marshall
Chris Sanders
Devin Bowman
Marshall is a high school quarterback that is a bigger prospect at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds. The four-star prospect could be a safety, linebacker or receiver for the Bulldogs. Bowman and Sanders are both multi-dimensional in-state products that could be used at a number of spots in Athens as well.
LINEBACKER

DEFENSIVE TACKLE

Class Recruiting Rankings
5. Georgia
Head of the class: RB Isaiah Crowell, DE Ray Drew
Buzz: Despite a disappointing season in Athens, Mark Richt put together the Georgia "Dream Team" and secured one of the nation's top classes. Among the in-state prospects taking their talents to the Bulldogs is running back Isaiah Crowell, defensive end Ray Drew, defensive back Malcolm Mitchell, defensive back Damian Swann and tight end Jay Rome. Richt also stole linebacker Kent Turene, a native of the Sunshine State, from Southern Cal on National Signing Day. Georgia signed a total of 20 prospects from the Peach State.
Big fish that got away: DE Xzavier Dickson
