The dude is forgetting two very BIG things.......Lakatos and Belin. 1) WM coached the DB's as well as being the DC and he's not in the same league as Lakatos.....HUGE difference. 2) Jancek (see above) isn't in the same league as Belin either coaching the LB's.

Both Lakatos and Belin may be as big, if not bigger, an answer to UGA's defense than Grantham.

The dude forgot just how bad WM was at coaching DB's and Jancek coaching the LB's.

The total sum of the 4 parts (coaches) on D equals an A+.

GLBG will rule.

What will be really interesting to me will be if this D, first year in the system for a lot or most of these young men, turn the pages quickly and become outstanding. Said all along and believe it, there is a lot of talent in Athens. If this group wins 10 this year, like you and so many have said, look out in 2011 and 2012. GLBG, totall agree. :woohoo: :woohoo:

The defense began sucking right from the get go in 2005. Most did not notice because the team had talent, but I did. I noticed that McFadden ran all over us and nearly beat us. I noticed that Irons at Auburn ran all over us. And I knew Pat White and Slaton would run all over us.

I could have done a better job than WM. Any one we hired was an upgrade from WM. I am sure he is a great guy, but some thing just did not work from the get go.
