Rumor and ONLY a rumor

All I have to say is ,if recruits do not come because willie is gone. Thats fine with me, Because he couldnt do anything with them anyways!! He has had plenty of them and look at the result. So I wouldnt worry about recruits, I had rather have a good coach to coach up what we have and what we will get next yr. But if CMR insists on keepin him then I guess back to the Dbs is better than havin him as DC. GO DAWGS!!

If a coach with the background of Sanders was to come in as DC, one can bet that he runs the defense as he sees fit. A lot of Coach Sanders strength is in the front wall, DT's, DE's and LB's.

There are times when zone is the right call, but it has to be the RIGHT call. Circumstances and field position dictate what to expect from the D.

ugaa is right again. BVG knew that he had what it takes to make the folks on defense successful. Left, stayed a short time with South Carolina, that was quickly over when the Falcons came calling. Falcons (Smith) knew that BVG understood schemes and PERSONNEL.

Remember my friends.....it's still just speculation at this point.

Willie would be fine as the DB coach. If my memory is right, I remember a day when our defense never and I mean never cost us ball games. If the O didn't show up that day it was still going to be a dog fight. Just because he struggles as DC doesn't mean he is worthless. Wouldn't it be great though if WM was demoted to DB coach and MB was demoted to QB coach. A DC who deserves the title and MR calling plays, I could actually see a run at the NC game.

I really feel that if we keep WM around for much longer those recruits will start saying im not coming to play for that bum! The truth is HCMR should run the guy right out of town and get back to the business of winning football games! Would love to see a DC with NFL experience--would love to have Monty but alas...
