Rumor and ONLY a rumor

I heard parts of a local radio telecast yesterday about UGA's DC situation. The part of the conversation I caught was that Bob Sanders (ex DC for the Packers) would come to UGA as our DC and they would still keep CWM on staff. I talked to my informed guy to try to confirm this and he said he had heard the same RUMORS but couldn't verify anything yet.

Just thought ya'll might keep your ears to the ground.

Very interesting post wlayton. Coach Sanders would fit in Athens nicely. He has a tremendous amount of professional experience. He is a players coach and believes in the DE's getting after the QB. He worked with Coach Bates who is now the Tampa Bay DC. Lots of experience, I like it. Turns out to be true, fine with me. Definite step up.

I just hope richt learns from this and demotes willie to waterboy instead of putting him in charge of the secondary and letting them get burned again like they did when he was last in charge of it.

Oh well, if this is true then its better than nothing, just as long as they strip all power from willie, he can not get the defense focused, its not that they arent talented its that they look lost most games.
