younghs.......UT didn't play over their heads, they would do the same to us if they played us again (although I know what you meant). CWM wouldn't make any changes and they would light up our secondary AGAIN.

Hey dapolla, I was just about to say the same thing to fire_dawg about hiring Kirby Smart (well, not mid-season....but that's even a better idea). My contact says that if offered the job, he would leave Bama to come home to UGA.

What does your contact say about Muschamp? I would LOVE to have him on the sidelines! And I heard somewhere that he would come back in a heartbeat.

He's staying at UT. He'll be the HC in a couple of years. Not so sure I wouldn't rather have KS simply because he is learning about defense from one of the best in Saban.

Where do we sign the petition?

wlayton ur right about KS but do you think he would leave UA with as much success they are having right now? And as much as I hate to say it Saban is good one to learn from......now excuse me while I go puke! :X

What really gripes me is that this team has shown no improvement from one week to the next. This is the same team that lined up in the OK State game, and they played with the same intensity. NONE. Made the same mistakes in penalties and turnovers. No improvement whatsoever!

It is all on the coaches. Martinez and Bobo look at film all week every week. What makes CMR think they will learn anything? They sure haven't in the first six games.

Vanderbilt better watch out! :S

This season has been a bitter disappointment, and the coaches need to coach and quit watching film. But, maybe the cure is to keep them in the film room and let the assistants do the coaching.

Several years ago, CMR moved out of the offensive coordinators job and assumed what he called the CEO's responsibility. He needs to move back to the office with the grunts and leave his ivory tower with the CEO's office.

And put some FIRE in this team. Anyone watch the LSU-FL or Al-Ole Miss games? Did you notice how all four of those teams played HARD with determination? Compare that to what you saw in the GA TN game. Only one of those teams played HARD, and it sure wasn't GA. Tired of this crap of being the nice guy. Someone once said they finish last, and CMR is proving the point.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...I LOVE IT! I am soo not pissed about losing! I hope the rest of the season goes just like this. I SMELL A NEW DC IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE!!!

I don't. All we have seen from CMR on the CWM issue is excuse after excuse after excuse after excuse. This to me is the costly side-effect of doing business with friends.

There's a lot of football left? Maybe schedule wise there is, but in terms of accomplishing anything worthwhile this season, barring some catastrophic meltdown of Florida (which isn't going to happen), our chances to play in Atlanta are non-existent. Our running game is the laughing stock of the SEC right now. 89 rushing yards? Seriously?

David Fox on Rivals.com is predicting coaching staff changes after this year, but firmly states that CMR's job is safe as long as he makes the necessary moves. Of course this is nothing more than a dream on my behalf, but I'd love to see CMR try to convince Tommy Tuberville to come in and run the defense. Now the chances of that happening are slim because I think CTT wants to get back in the saddle as a head coach somewhere and he certainly has the credentials to do so. I think a lot about both Georgia's future and CMR's future will be made pretty clear after this year if a change isn't made. That being said, gauging by CMR's history with CWM and the perpetual excuses that are made for him, I'd be shocked to see a change made unless Damon Evans steps in and forces one.

At this point, it's just going through the motions and finishing out the season. I think now is the time when we absolutely have to see Logan Gray start and begin taking his lumps for next season by giving the young guys time to make mistakes and learn. Who knows, we may be pleasantly surprised. I was glad to see Ealey come in vs. LSU and I'd love to see Gray get the rest of the snaps this season and start getting him broken in.
