Coach Richt's message to the Bulldog nation

speaking as a season ticket holder- the bulldog nation has a lot of faith in the team! I have witnessed an entire stadium sit in the rain and cheer in a close game that we had to take a knee to line up a field goal. I have sat and watched a game handed to LSU on a silver platter! (both of those games i didnt get home until 2 am because of a 3 hour drive to athens from home and i saw many SUVEES with UGA gear on them and their tails tucked between their legs and heads hung low driving along with me ) Yes the bulldog nation has faith! I know its easy to second guess on Sunday what happens on Saturday, but it just seems to me that we keep making the same mistakes! A lot of people blame the loss to LSU on a penalty- ok maybe, but it also could have been that we left too much time on the clock, and then looked like fools as we tried to run a gimick play on the kick off. Then on Defense we had been holding the tigers on the rushing game and we let one guy thru for the winning 6? Why is Curren making all those tackels each game? I think its because he has to because noone else is tackling.
I really dont want to talk about the Tennesse game- They wiped us plane and simple- is this their first sec win this seasin? I remember a couple seasons ago sitting in sanford stadium eating my popcorn and watching as the VOLS wiped us to the worst trashing we had at home in recent memory! Then last season we were embarrased by The Tide, the Gators and now i feel terribly embarrased over the loss to The Vols. I don't mind loosing a game that we poured everything we have into, but someone tell me how we can loose as big as we did yesterday!

Richt should be in politics--- all talk, no action -- he would fit right in -- maybe even get an undeserved award like B.O. did

The best time for firing Willie will be immediately AFTER the Vanderbilt game, just before the bye week. Then a new DC (Kirby Smart, anyone?) can come in, teach the defense how to, you know, PLAY, and have two weeks to prep them. It'd be like a mini-camp.

This was the worst Mike Bobo game I've ever seen, but I'm not ready to fire him yet. Not JUST yet.

2 things-- we had our worst game and Vols played over their heads-- coaches didn't make adjustments to the rollout pass that killed us-- we definitely need to look at a new defensive coordinator-- we could very easily be 1 and five right now --

If we go 6 and 6 and lose a bowl game, Bobo needs to go, definitely-- ( he would make a decent jr. high assistant coach )

younghs.......UT didn't play over their heads, they would do the same to us if they played us again (although I know what you meant). CWM wouldn't make any changes and they would light up our secondary AGAIN.

Hey dapolla, I was just about to say the same thing to fire_dawg about hiring Kirby Smart (well, not mid-season....but that's even a better idea). My contact says that if offered the job, he would leave Bama to come home to UGA.
