Moreno and Stafford knew something we didn't

Dapolla I really admire the stuff you post. You are one sharp Dawg. Maybe I look at BIG games a little different than you. Ga Tech is not a big game when you beat them year after year. Va Tech, I expect UGA to beat every ACC team they play. Hawaii, now come on they were horrible. Florida is definitely a BIG game, but you can't get to the next level without beating them consistently. That is why I think this year is so important. I will give you LSU in the SEC championship game, but JR got hurt early in that game. To the best of my knowledge, LSU has not dominated us in a while. That series is always back and forth. Our major nemesis has been Tenn and Florida every since the league went to a championship game. We have proven we can beat Tenn over the last 7 years or so. If we beat Florida this year we will have split the last four years and this will help our recruiting and attitude. Tech, Va Tech and Hawaii means nothing to these 5 star athletes who dream of championships. We have to consistently win the SEC EAST in order to compete for NC's.

I am sorry I did not realize that you were speaking of the 08 LSU game. Once again LSU started an underclassmen QB. That was not your typical LSU team.

I seem to recall every single one of you singing praises about Mike Bobo, after the huge Virginia Tech comeback and for the past two years. And after one game, you all throw it in his face?

I apologize for sounding like a broken record, but I've been down on bobo since he started calling plays. We've had some great offensive players who ran up huge numbers, in spite of bobo's play calling, so my opinion of him is not knee jerk. I hope I'm proven wrong this year b/c right now, other than AJ, we don't have the players to overcome poor leadership. I'd like to see CMR take over the reigns again - worked well for the early part of his career in Athens.

big dawg 3, have we PLAYED any big games, then? You seem to discount any game against a rival, etc...basically any game we've won was a bad or easy win, but the games we've lost we should have won.

By the way, LSU is pretty back and forth historically (we're 12-14-1 against them in 27 total meetings starting in 1928). However, LSU has not beaten us at home since 1987. The last three meetings between these two teams, we've outscored them 131-68. LSU has dominated the SEC in this decade with three SEC titles and two national titles, but we're 3-2 against them since Mark Richt came to Georgia. We're 2-1 against them in the regular season and 1-1 against them in the Georgia Dome. They do not in any way dominate us.

You must hate the Gators so much to ignor them in this fact.
For the record, the winningest team vs. the SEC in this decade (since 2000) is Florida. For that matter, UGA is better than LSU by a half game. It shakes out like this:

Florida is 56-19 vs. the SEC with 3 SECC and 2 NC (undefeated in SECC games BTW)
LSU is 53-23 vs. the SEC with 3 SECC and 2 NC.
UGA is 53-22 vs. the SEC with 2 SECC and zero NC.

Florida is 5-4 vs. LSU and 7-2 vs. UGA (winning record against both)
LSU is 4-5 vs. UF and 2-3 vs. UGA (losing record against both)
UGA is 3-2 vs. LSU and 2-7 vs. Florida

You are correct that LSU does not dominate UGA.

They went for the money....hands down.

Who can blame them? Look at Sam Bradford. Came back... busted shoulder... maybe out for the season. These players' careers can be over in an instant. They should take them money.
