Right sadlerdawg. If you look around the country, the best teams ALL have very good QB's that can get you down the field and can score on you at a moments notice. Now most of the J. Cox fans can see why, imo, he couldn't hold a candle to Matthew Stafford. MS could beat you at any time from anywhere on the field....Cox can't.

I love Joe just like everyone else, great DAWG and kid....but facts are facts. That's why I feel LG gives us a better chance with his extra dimension that is similar to DJ.

Buc, wish Cox had missed the plane.

I, too, am starting to wonder about our coaching staff.

Observations:

1. JC is a little better than Joe T. (again I predict LG will be our QB by midseason, if not sooner after what I just watched)
2. Samuels will go down if you TOUCH his ankles.
3. Bobo is the only OC that will change having success
4. Evans STILL can't cover anybody
5. Fire the special teams coverage coach (our ST coverage has ALWAYS been pathetic!!!)
6. Still NO DANG PASS RUSH.
7. D did play decent and very physical. Don't believe OSU ever drove the whole length of the field.
8. We are not very good....just like I said to Buc a few months ago.
9. IMO...in college ball, you had better have a very good QB, the most important position on the field. We have skilled players but can't get the ball to them.
10. Finally.....actually too disappointed to make any other comment except to relax and enjoy a very mediocre season unless we can get MUCH better QB play.

wlayton, I am going to listen to you. One thing that really stood out in what I saw today was . . . .#2 on your list

2. Samuels will go down if you TOUCH his ankles.

I understand that it is too early in some minds to start beating the drums, however . . . we have a young QB that is not too far short of MS when it comes to spinning the ball down field. I don't have anything but respect for JC, but he made some mistakes today that surprised me. Murray will drive you crazy sometimes, but this is what the young QB has . . . . great arm, can read defenses, and is mobile. Fault . . . one big one, he tries to do too much. Watched him in high school.

There is no way that CMR will remove a coach. Said it last year and will say it again, that can be costly. CMR is a great recruiter, Moms and Grandmothers, Dads, Brothers and Sisters love CMR, but this is my question . . . . . what happens to that talent when facing teams that we should beat . . .? These are my Dawgs, but the future sure looks bleak when I look at the schedule.

I to agree with wlayton, touch Samuels and he falls down. I saw several times where he could have made a nice run, and got an arm stuck out and he falls down. The coaching will never change also. As I said on another subject, CMR will not fire any coaches, and this will cost him his job. You can not have a nice christan man, that wants everybody to be happy and love each other, to coach and have a winning program with conference and national championships. The talent he had in o2 and 05 was good enough to over come his coaching staff. To me things are getting worst and after this yeat if things still stay the same, you will see us going back to the Goff years.

WOW,WOW,WOW. This board is depressing. You guys played a heck of a team, and played well except for a handful of plays. One big play by Dez, one missed coverage on special teams, and some costly turnovers in their territory. The turnovers especially killed you. It doesnt matter if you play Left Buttcheek U, if you turn the ball over inside their 20, there going to get points. UGA abandoned the run after that first 75 yard drive. Cox should never ever throw the ball 30 times in a game. 15 max. Only when they need it, and he didnt need to today. Samuels is a great bruising back, and needed the ball 15 more times. They never tried to control the line of scrimmage. The dawgs will be fine this year. Bobo is the reason they lost that game, not the refs, not the hokies and not CWM. The hokies played well and won, but Bobo abandoned all that is SEC football. Logan Gray should have played more, he needed to see the field 7-10 times. To hold Zrob to 135 passing yards is great. Felt like the dawgs played well, and will only lose to Florida from here on out. And that might not happen. Heads up guys fixable mistakes killed you today. Somebody call Bobo and tell him to do the opposite of what he did after the first drive today. Or let CMR take over the offense.

That's why this board is so depressed, gatorstrong. It's the same thing year after year--We know the problems are fixable, they just choose not to fix them.
