since I last posted here sometime in December...EVERYONE needs to read the article Buc linked. Read it several times and pay more attention to what isn't being said as opposed to that which is....No finger pointing, but then again...??? There is one resounding word quoted over and over again. Same word that found its mark in numerous threads herein.
Hell, the entirity of the article, particularly the quotes, sounded eerily similar to the recent and illfated election. Both sides talked about change, the need for it, the reasons for it, but one in particular never once said why \"change\" from the present was necessary for the country to move forward. Well, the country chose change and it appears that our returning starters have likewise chosen change......
Sorry for the long winded analogy, but much can be gleaned from the words said, as well as those \"not said\", from our returning Dawgs. Suffice to say that we may all see a completely different level of play and focus. One need not look too far into our history to see when players became leaders and leaders became champions!
As for DawgSpeare's Questions:
1) GREAT
2) Without a doubt - Joe Cox!
3) Spoiled Disney Dawgs
4) ABSOLUTELY!
5) 12-1
6) Top 5
7) ABSOLUTELY!
8) ABSOLUTELY!
9) This assumes as fact that there is/was a need for redemption! Were mistakes made, yes. Will we see improvements, yes! Were mistakes made elsewhere, other than on defense, with similar regularity? YES!!! Redemption is too strong a word, especially when the validation sought is for an outspoken faction of the fan base and NOT from his boss. In turn, I ask, will the fan base that so deeply questioned not only CWM's ability but CMR's judgement, be willing to accept said \"validation\" if offered?
10) No., In his own twisted little mind, perhaps, but in reality....NO!
As for the Disney Dawgs still wringing their hands and wetting their panties over CWM,...I'll have a heaping plate waiting for y'all.....
GO DAWGS..............
