By the way, since the '70s, we have only failed to defeat a defending national champion ONCE, in 1999, when Tennessee beat us. Florida goes down in 2009. Period. I'm not even worried.

It doesn't matter which side you are on, there is nothing like experiencing a GA-FLA game in Jax, Fla. You guys, who haven't been to one, need to go before it ends.... and I feel, eventually it will. It is a week full of events and partying leading up to the game! Great time!! Keeps me traveling down year after year. Guys who have been, am I right or wrong??!

The other thing about the UF/UGA game is it is on Halloween, its a huge party anyway, but I am interested to see the costumes if there are any. A gf of mine always thinks the UF girls are tackier than UGA girls.

Nothing like our UGA girls! Much classier even though, most of the time, I'm looking at them through the bottom of a cocktail glass. Great times in Jax! (I hope me wife doesn't read this):blink:

Do they still have the Golf Tournament near St. Simmons? I had an opprotunity to play a couple of years ago but left the club in the winter and the member couldn't get a hold of me!!!! He was a UGA grad and had tickets to the game which i would not attend since i am 0-6 lifetime! 3 of those loses where in the early 90's when only Ray Goff couldn't beat TN with a national championship quality team! 2 came under JD and 1 under CMR. The 1 under CMR was the 04 SEC championship game, the only up side was the girl i took!:silly: my wife never reads this stuff so i am safe! i plan on attending a sure win this season maybe the TN Tech game. if they lose that one i will officially re-retire!
