Hit the road jack...

I guess I have to disagree with all of you because I dont think that CWM is the main reason for our failed season. I challenge any one on here to watch the tapes of our games again and look and see if CWM called a defense that put his players in position to make plays. From what I can see, he has had players in position time and time again to make plays and they havent.

Although our team was ranked no 1 preaseason that doesnt mean they are the best team in the country. That poll is done with out seeing a single game. The poll is based on returning players and predictions. Predictions! Nothing else! Our players werent as good as predicted. Our offense shot itself in the foot just as much as the defense struggled in our games against fla and bama.

You can disagree all you want but aside from knowshon, stafford, green, and momass our team hasnt lived up to exspectations. You can blame blame blame all you want but at some point we have to realize that we are what we are. I am proud to support the entire football orginization for the 9-3 team that they are.

Ok, then CWM needs to learn to evaluate his players better and put the ones on the field that WILL make the plays, since you say they were in \"position\" (and don't tell me we don't have talented players....if \"coached up\" properly).

Also, I wasn't stating that we were definitely the #1 team in the nation only that this forum wasn't the only place on the planet that thought we were very good, therefore substantiating our feelings...

I myself believed that we were number 1. But, the roster of players that was ranked number 1 never materialized due to injury and under performance. Our defense is broken and struggling. It is one thing to get our butts kicked by the #1 and #2 teams in the country because florida and bama are great teams. However, the loss to tech is disheartening because tech does not have better players then we do. I agree that there is a problem and I think it is a mixture of the bulldogs players and the staff.

I think the players have under performed. If I see another shoudler nudge tackle I am going to puke. It is frustraiting that we cant find some one on the uga campus that can keep a kick off in bounds... The list goes on in on... But that is on the players.

I have defended CWM because I dont believe the problem lies entirely with him. But, I realize that the problem also lies with our coaching staff. And that starts with CMR. He has settled for the penalty situation, the discipline issues off and on the field, and the deterioration of our defense. Like my other posts, rewatch the games, the players could have made plays. But, will CMR settle for this style of half hearted defensive effort. It is up to him to change this. It is bigger then wins and losses. He must revive the style of play that has developed in athens.

Now, I can certainly agree with that post...and I DON'T think CWM is the whole problem either...the players do have to play and all coaches have to coach etc etc

That is exsactly right my friend...

I may have to agree w/ prozac on this one.It's hard for the defense to stop drives that start at the 40 yard line.CWM has alot of work to do, but you have to remember we lost a good many players to injury as well. As for me I say go Dawwwwwgs. & Can't we all just get along!!!!
