Of the list mentioned above, I believe the key to the game will be our OL. LSU has MEN rushing the passer, the get tremendous penetration. Our young OL really needs to step up or it will be a LONG night and MS will be running for his life.

As upset as I have been about no pass rush from our front four and the play of Evans at corner (I understand it was a perfect pass but not in the other games...Bama definitely went after HIM from the start), our D overall has been at least a B+.

Yep, IMO, the key to the game will be if our OL can match up.

It may be my twisted bias against UF that betrays my attempt to objectively evaluate them. I cannot stand Florida! When UGA and UF play, my heart races and my blood pressure rises. I am not just saying this; it is true. I get upset when Florida makes 5 yards much less 25! It’s not quite as bad when UF plays someone else, but I am still rooting against them. No reasonable explanation for it; I just detest the toothy lizards.

But yes, I do think they are very good offensively. I think TTebow is a very good passer. I think he is underrated as a passer. I think he will be drafted as a QB in the NFL and will probably be a good one.

An answer to one question proposed here: What’s the basis for the negativity? I believe it’s our very high expectations this year. All in all, we are still 6-1 and in the hunt for the SEC-East. That’s all we need to worry about for now. Considering the number and extent of the injuries which we have suffered, we are doing quite well.

But I do continue to wonder about the Willie Martinez philosophy of defense. Didn’t work against Bama, but it has fared pretty well otherwise. I just think we need more pass rush against LSU, and I KNOW WE NEED MORE PASS RUSH AGAINST THE TEBOWTANS!
