What’s the greatest
single need we have for the LSU game?
1. Effective pass rush
2. Better offensive line play
3. Better defensive backfield play
4. Greater distribution of passes to receivers not named Green
5. Throw to the tight end
6. More middle distance passes (8-15 yds)
7. More variety in offensive plays

To me, there is no question that it is
no. 1. We must have a greater pass rush against the Tigers. Second on the list is #3 for me, and it is axiomatic that #'s 1 and 3 are closely related. A better pass rush automatically affects the effectiveness of the defensive backs, and vice versa.
I would also like to see us throw a pass to the tight end. As I recall, the tight end is usually eligible to catch a pass.
We may not be ready for LSU or the slimy lizzards...BUT...ready or not they are here, and we have to face them. Of the two games, the Gator game is the most important and most critical for us to win. We might, might, maybe get by LSU with only slight improvement in our play versus Vanderbuilt. But we will not defeat Florida without a substantial pass rush!!!!!!
