Buc it was not only a great move by Pruitt but like I said brilliant to put #7 #84 #51 and #52 on the field at the same time. They not only contained the middle but they did an outstanding job of containing the edge giving Jenkins the opportunity wreck havoc at the line of scrimmage and take away what little passing game Aubuurn was able to muster...this is what I have been waiting to see just wish it would of come 2 games sooner...

Buc, you mentioning Chubb having "wiggle" (plus power) have you also noticed how he gives the D player the OLD "limp leg" when they try to tackle him low? "Back in the day", as you know, RB's gave that limp leg to break loose from tacklers that try to "hold on".....remember that old trick??

I get tickled every time a D player hits Chubb low and tries to hold on and he gives him that "limp leg" and he breaks out of their tackles most every time......some tricks never die.

Young man using old tricks......comes naturally for him.

Chubb is unbelievable.

Guess there will always be a reason as to why Georgia hands it to Auburn. Over the years have heard a lot of different reasons. Below is a paragraph that I lifted from an article on the Auburn site.

What happened to Auburn was they got it handed to them. Gus Malzahn not unlike urban meyer came to the SEC and did what another coach Steve Spurrier did back in the 1990's, changed things up, shook things up, created problems for defensive coaches to figure out.

Reading the bold type, believe Gus was out coached by Jeremy, along with losing a left tackle to the NFL that I believe to be one of the best ever. Replacement does not have the same skill level and tends to hold. He would be much better suited at guard, probably will happen next season.

Goose . . . . Wife let you back in the home yet? :) Know how much this game meant to you.

Auburn grabbed a 7-0 lead at Georgia, but watched the Bulldogs reel off 34 straight points while shutting down the Tigers' offense, which combined for only 82 yards in the second and third quarters.

Edit: Good read . . . . onlineathens.com/sports/college-sports/2...p-high-octane-tigers

Malzahns last comment, in that article BUC, about knowing what UGA would do on defense and how it did'nt surprise them, kind of takes the heat off the coaches and puts it squarely on the players dont you think.
